Hi Girlz, today i am reviewing Rimmel Apocalips in the shade 303 Apocaliptic. It's a bright Fushia pink, heavily pigmented and extremely long lasting.
RIMMEL CLAIMS-
It’s the End of Colour as you know it!
The intense rich color of a lipstick, enhanced by a satin smooth shine.
It’s neither a lipstick nor a gloss… It’s BIGGER than both!
PRICE- £ 4.99/- and RS. 475/-
QUANTITY- 5.5 ml
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT-
Rimmel Apocalips also called as "Show Off" in the USA come in a not so fat black colored tube that has the lip shade at the bottom of the tube. The packaging is stocky and quite stylish. I bought Apocaliptic which is a bright fushia color and i feel it's the perfect summer hue. The applicator is the regular doe-foot shaped but with a difference.....it has a tiny scoop that helps to get the precise amount of product for application. One swipe and it goes opaque and that point emphasis how richly pigmented and intense this lip lacquer is! The texture is creamy, light and doesn't bleed or settle into fine lines. On application it looks slightly glossy and turns matte within an hour and I like how it manages to stay on my lips for around 4-5 hours without drying my lips and tends to fade gradually leaving a light tint. However, it has a tendency to transfer onto cups and drinking glasses but i guess that's fine. Furthermore, it has a weird fragrance although not overriding but i don't actually like it!
In conclusion, yes what Rimmel says is very much true it's certainly neither a lipstick nor a lip gloss........ according to me its a mix of both worlds! A very creative innovation.
But I don't understand why did they changed the name from Apocalips to Show Off in the US because I think "Apocalips" is a very unique name......wonder whats with that?
HOW DO I USE THIS PRODUCT?
I apply the product to the center of my lips moving outwards.
PROS
Apply Rimmel Apocalips on clean lips.
PRODUCT RATING
4.5/5
WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT?

I got this recently and I love to wear it around home to test it out before wearing it outside, and it goes onto EVERYTHING have to scrub my forks, cups, spoons immediately. Lasts all through the night and through eating, requires a bit of re-application if it's something really messy like bolognese or anything pasta or hearty. in my last blog post I took a photobooth selfie and this colour is SO vibrant, with flash even more so and is super pigmented which I love. I just wish it had more staying power on the lips not onto everything it touches.

Yes Nichola it gets on every single thing that your lips touch. The rich pigmented color made me fall for it.
