Today I am blogging about an absolutely magnificent product by Himalaya, which is none other than the Himalaya Herbals, Purifying Neem Pack for normal to oily skin types. This pack has done wonders to my skin and I simply cannot stop loving this product.
I purchased the twin pack which is 16g since I wanted to try the Neem pack before buying the full size product.

THIS PRODUCT CLAIMS
A purifying pack that helps to regulate excess oil secretion, clogged pores and prevents the recurrence of pimples.Neem- well known for it's purifying and antibacterial properties, helps in controlling acne and pimples and their recurrence. Combined with Turmeric, it helps in removing the acne causing bacteria. Fuller's Earth( Multani Mitti ) cools and soothes the skin, improving skin's texture and leaving you with clear and problem free skin.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Allow to dry for 10-15 mins. Remove with wet sponge and wash with cool water. Use once or twice a week. Don not apply on broken inflamed skin.
May cause tingling sensation due to herbal active ingredients which is normal.

Now let me brief you up about this fantastic product. It's basically a shower gel from the Atmosphere range, The Nature's Co. It purifies skin leaving it fresh and soft. It cleanses the skin without drying it. This lovely body wash has minty fragrance that revitalizes body in the shower and it's delicate fragrance doesn't last really long. I love its cool green color. I consider this a decent product for everyday use.

This post of mine is all about the Clarins express face treatment plus BB cream launch party that was arranged at Inorbit Mall, Malad, Mumbai on May 18th 2013, 3-7pm. I was invited by Vellvette to attend this enticing event and I need to say this, it was an awesome experience.The Clarins staff was friendly, elucidated me all about the White Plus Total Luminescent range and answered all my queries with a smile. I had a relaxing face treatment session followed by a tiny makeup session, Vellvette and Clarins goodie bags and coffee plus snacks with girls at the Cafe Coffee Day.

Hey everyone, Today I am posting about the Vellvette Box- May 2013, that I received yesterday. This lovely box was neatly packed and everything in the box was very much organised. I tend to like the products that I got, however I was extremely disappointed with the lipstick. It was a DISASTER! I was eagerly waiting to try this lip color but I guess it was simply not worth the wait. I am extremely sorry to say this but Vellvette you have surely broken my heart this time.

Is The Modern Health Care Really Touching Lives????

Hey everyone I am writing this post for the Indiblogger contest " How does modern health care touch lives?"Link to Apollo However I am not hoping to win anything for this post of mine not even the basic prize. Since I am very much sure of the fact that not many will appreciate what I have written and I am not going to make this a very long post.

How does modern health care touch lives???? How???? the equipped machinery? well qualified doctors, technicians, nurses or other hospital staff? latest technology? what exactly does modern health care even mean?? Most of us usually think hospitals with better facilities are always better and this thing is very much true, beyond doubt. The better the facilities the better diagnosis and treatment. But to what extent is this modern health care touching lives?? I personally believe not to a larger extent because if that would have been the case then people wouldn't have been loosing their lives so easily.
Before we even try understanding what is modern health care system we need to understand what exactly is "Health Care". It's nothing but the diagnosis of diseases/disorders and it's cure, prevention and treatment. 
Severe issues like malnutrition, poor sanitation, inadequate safe drinking water, women health concerns are abundant in India and these issues play a vital role in the health care system. If these issues are high in no. the more difficult it is to provide good health care. This is something that the government and everyone needs to understand. Eradicating these major issues should be the top most priority. Even the latest technology won't work until these problems are solved. 

Now when I think about the health care facilities that Apollo is providing I find it confined to just one section of the Indian population and that is the higher and middle class categories but what about the lower middle class and poor categories? Shouldn't they be getting better health care services? or just because they cannot afford the treatment they must not even think about it? What should a commoner do?
Why are hospitals in a rat race of becoming brands? instead, why don't they target at the current problem? There are many questions but in a country like India one shouldn't be expecting answers!!

Lastly, Life for most of the people is miserable, they simply can't afford their day-to-day expenses how can you even expect them to afford the so called " Modern Health Care" ????? And the most amazing thing, the shameless govt. does nothing. A common man always finding himself sandwiched between the lazy, corrupt government and increasing prices of almost everything. 
I personally believe no matter what we do, strikes, protests or anything the govt continues to ignore and the result is very much clear for all of us to see.

In my opinion the basic health care is not touching lives of millions of Indians, and modern health care is like a dream to a common man.

I have totally fallen for this lovely song and simply can't refrain myself from humming it every now and then. It's cheesy, vibrant and so easy to catch along!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is doing fine. This post is about another sample that I received at The Nature's Co. Mother's Day event. 

This lovely product is a Body Butter from the Starrize range of The Nature's Co. It makes the skin soft and supple without making the skin too greasy or sticky. However, it doesn't have a great fragrance to it and is more on the milder side. A very good product for those who don't prefer strong smelling moisturizers.

Hello everyone! Today I am blogging about one of the samples that I received from The Nature's Co. during their Mother's Day event at Infinity Mall II, Malad, Mumbai.
I got some cool samples from The Nature's Co. and I must tell you after trying them, especially the lip balm,I have just gone crazy.................... I am undeniably going to purchase this balm in the near future. 

The balm that I got is a Black current lip balm from The Nature's Co. It's a remarkable product that not only moisturizes and softens your lips but also smells heavenly, it's delighting fragrance has captivated my heart and seems like I'll never stop loving or using this product.
I am almost done with this sample and once it's over I am going to purchase the full size product.

'MOJITO MANIA' at the Hard Rock Cafe!!!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Hope everyone is doing great! Today I am blogging about an event that I recently attended, "MOJITO  MANIA" it was an amazing event organized by Hard Rock Cafe! They organized a preview table for bloggers on Friday, May 10th, 2013 at the Hard Rock Cafe that is located at Koregaon, Pune.
Although I have been to Hard Rock Cafe several times in Hyderabad,the one situated at the GVK Mall on the Banjara Hills Road. I had never attended any such event but now I am glad to receive this opportunity to attend this brilliant event.
It was an awesome evening with fellow bloggers plus I got to taste some truly delicious Mojito's! There is a wide assortment of tempting Mojito's available to choose from, for instance Bacardi Grape Mojito, which is a sweet & sour mojito made of Bacardi Rum with fresh seedless red grapes; Bacardi Orange Mojito which includes Barcardi orange Rum and the enormous list of mojito's continue with Bacardi green apple mojito, Bacardi bell pepper mojito and many others. Since I don't consume alcohol, I asked them to get me non-alcoholic mojitos, they kindly agreed to my request and arranged me absolutely fantastic and super tempting non-alcoholic drinks! I tried two flavors green apple and orange and fell in love with them instantly as they were refreshing and mood enlivening drinks. Moreover, we were served some complimenting snacks along with the mojito's that were scrumptious!

Let me tell you the fest is open for all till 9th June so all of you can avail the mojito's at the Hard Rock Cafe's, all over India. And yes there is also a contest going on where you could win a Mercedes Benz!!!! Isn't that great! Hopefully I win.

The Mojito that I actually liked the most was the green apple Mojito, it had a unique distinctive flavor to it, I could actually feel the crispness of the green apple in every sip. On the contrary the orange mojito was more on the bitter side just like most of the mojito's are supposed to be.
As I mentioned earlier the Mojito's were totally revitalizing and the snacks were served along with different appetizing dips, both of them were undoubtedly incredible.

You must visit the Hard Rock Cafe since they have a lot to offer and this place for everyone!

I have been doing a lot of research lately to find almost everything about sunscreens and so here I am with all the vital info that I could gather! WHAT IS AN SPF AND IT'S ROLE?
SPF is Sun Protection Factor that ranges from 2 to as high as 50 and it is the capability to provide a screen or block from the harmful ray's of the sun. However, it's a misconception that higher the SPF greater the protection. A higher SPF number doesn't mean it's going to provide you better or longer protection! The protection gets slightly higher with increase in the SPF number. The actual fact is no sunscreen can provide you with complete protection. Now, in order to achieve  maximum protection look for a sunscreen that provides protection against UVA and UVB. 

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING UVA AND UVB PROTECTION IN YOUR SUNSCREEN?
UVB are the sun burning rays and on the other hand UVA are the rays that cause skin ageing, wrinkles, fine lines, sun spots,skin cancer, tanning etc. SPF rating only applies to UVB protection hence, it's extremely important for you to select a sunscreen that not only provides you with protection against UVB but also UVA radiation! Select a sunscreen that is "broad-spectrum" as this factor of the sunscreen provides protection against UVB and UVA as well! *There is no FDA-approved rating system for UVA radiation yet. 

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUNSCREEN AND SUNBLOCK
SUNSCREENS are usually colorless and retain a thin film on the skin. On the contrary, SUNBLOCKS contain ingredients such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that physically block ultraviolet radiation and provide both UVA and UVB protection. However, sunblocks are cosmetically not acceptable as they are messy, noticeable and do not easily wash off.
